At TeacherLounge, our mission is to create a collaborative and inclusive online space where educators, students, and parents can thrive. As Parker Sorey, the founder of TeacherLounge and a dedicated educator with eight years of experience in Exceptional Student Education and English Language Arts, I am committed to fostering a positive and supportive community that values connection, creativity, and critical thinking.
Through my work in E.S.E., I have developed strong skills in building relationships with students, understanding their individual needs, and creating personalized learning experiences. My experience in English Language Arts and Reading has not only deepened my passion for literacy but also broadened my understanding of how to engage students in meaningful ways. By integrating technology in the classroom, we aim to enhance the educational experience, promote digital citizenship, and empower students to become active learners and responsible digital citizens.

About the Founder
As the founder of TeacherLounge, I bring a unique perspective to the development of our platform. With a solid background in E.S.E. and English Language Arts, primarily working with middle and high school students, I have developed a passion for creating learning experiences that are both engaging and challenging. I understand the importance of building strong relationships with students, learning about their individual needs, and creating personalized learning experiences that cater to their strengths and interests. My experience has given me a broader understanding of how to support students with diverse learning needs and abilities. I am committed to being a positive role model for children and to creating a learning environment that is supportive, inclusive, and empowering.
